It doesn’t need to be.
You donāt need to work out for hours. Instead, you can stay fit by doing a 15-30 minute daily workout at home.
Of course, if you want to train more like an athlete, I encourage you to. But itās not required for general vitality and improved energy.
#8. Eat healthier
Almost everyone can eat healthier, whether that means a complete shift in diet or choosing to cook more often with fresh ingredients.
Why is this important?
Because food is your primary source of fuel: it doesn’t just impact your energy levels and overall health but also your emotions.
So take inventory of your current diet.
What is a habit you should get rid of? Whatās something you should do more of? And what new health habits could you try out?
#9. Start a side-hustle
Do you have dreams of starting your own business? Or maybe you want to pursue a career path that enables you to travel around the world?
Whatever it is, you have to make it happen.
Fortunately, itās easier than ever to pursue such journeys.

For example, if you want to become a writer, write every day. Want to become an entrepreneur? Come up with new business ideas. And develop a daily joke if you want to become a standup comedian.

#15. Become a better thinker
There is a very effective technique to improve your thinking. Edward de Bono explains this concept in his book: six thinking hats.
The idea is simple.
To make better decisions, you should look at the problem of wearing different hats. First, view it from a logical point of view. Then, emotion, caution, optimism, creativity, and control.
Thinking from these āhatsā broadens your perspective and improves your thinking abilities and, thus, decision making.

The true gift of life is to give.

Self-awareness is fundamental to creating your best life. And one of my favorite ways to do so is through self-reflection.
Take time out of your day to review the past days, weeks, or months.
Some questions you could ask yourself are:
- What did you do great?
- What did you enjoy the most?
- And what could you do better?
Improving self-awareness is a habit that helps you set better personal goals in general.
#19. Improve your finances
Unfortunately, most people never achieve financial freedom.
For some, that means getting out of debt. For others, it means earning more to gain more flexibility. Or simply not having to rely on others financially during your retirement.
But how do you start?
One way is to earn more than you spend. Note how there are two ways to do this: either making more or spending less.
Another good thing to do is to invest X amount of dollars every month – regardless of what the market does.
#20. Travel to a new place
Personal goals donāt just have to focus on getting better. Make sure to set some goals for leisure too!
- Whatās a place you have always wanted to visit?
- Whatās a sport or hobby you always wanted to try?
- And what about sightseeing or hiking?
